A new anti-austerity movement ostensibly fronted by Owen Jones, Mark Steel and others. Is it valid, is it productive, or just a talking shop?
My concern, and it seems sadly to be coming to pass, is that people's legitimate anger and the real concerns raised in respect of austerity (that are being blatantly ignored by the mainstream media in particular the appalling bbc) are being given nothing more than a temporary release. Meanwhile nothing is actually done to change things and people instead go away thinking things will change for the better. But they won't.
