It's basically a question. I see these hostage situations, like in Kenya or the 107 year old man, that held himself hostage..... and I am wondering. Is there anything science and technology can better do to end these situations, more favorably?
Any new weapons on the horizon that would help? Could you possibly paralyze hostage takers with sound waves? Stun them temporarily and take control. Could a taser like bullet be designed, where upon entering the body it could release a few minutes worth of electrical charge to neutralize the suspect?
I don't know much about this stuff. Any Ideas?
