Nature of skepticism

Thought for the day here, and this is nothing more than my own impression.



Being a skeptic is like being a counter-puncher in boxing. I'm not the world's best expert on boxing but I don't recall any of the sport's great champions who were basically counter-punchers.



Gennady Golovkin is probably the best professional fighter there's ever been since Duran and a couple of weekends ago, he put on a sort of a clinic on how to beat counter-punchers:

Most of the counter strokes never landed and in the odd case in which one did, Stevens still got the worst of it.
