Limiting salt intake

Reading this link I learned my suggested intake is even lower than I thought: https://www.mayoclinic.com/health/sodium/NU00284

:boxedin: I have cut back considerably on this (when I was younger I was horrible about it, love that salty taste). I almost never salt food before eating and minimal when cooking. And I only occasionally buy salt pills like chips and pretzels. I do have my vices though: I still tend to snack on stuff like lunchmeat, cheeses, and crackers, which are usually high in salt (mostly I have gone to purchase the "hint of salt" crackers, which helps). I've also become a "Mrs Dash" fan for seasonings. Still as I started to add it up, there's still work to do.

Just throwing it out for general discussion - how good/bad are you and what "tricks" have you used to get better?
