What's a reliable scientific source on the internet for dark matter/dark energy?

in a discussion about the evidence for dark matter or dark energy, I was convinced that Wikipedia gave me some reliable information.

Wikipedia about dark matter:

"Dark matter is a type of matter hypothesized in astronomy and cosmology to account for a large part of the mass that appears to be missing from the universe."

Wikipedia about dark energy:

In physical cosmology and astronomy, dark energy is a hypothetical form of energy that permeates all of space and tends to accelerate the expansion of the universe.

Definition of hypothesis noun from the Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary:

an idea or explanation of something that is based on a few known facts but that has not yet been proved to be true or correct

Wikipedia about 'a scientific hypothesis':

a scientific hypothesis is not the same as a scientific theory. A scientific hypothesis is a proposed explanation of a phenomenon which still has to be rigorously tested. In contrast, a scientific theory has undergone extensive testing and is generally accepted to be the accurate explanation behind an observation

My question is: Wikipedia says that dark matter (and dark energy) are 'hypothesis'. Wich means: "not yet been proved to be true".

But people here on the forum claim that there is evidence for dark matter and dark energy. So, they actually are saying that Wikipedia is wrong.

Why is no one here changing this Wikipediapage?

When we do some research, we can find this statement:

The first results from the Large Underground Xenon (LUX) detector are null, scientists say, indicating that the invisible matter thought to make up a large chunk of the universe is even more elusive than many experts thought.

This article debunks the claim that there is evidence for dark matter. They are still searching for it, but do not detect anything.

So, why are people here on the forum still claiming that there is evidence for dark matter, while scientists are still searching for it? (see Reality-Check and others) While Wikipedia and recent research says otherwise? The detectors haven't even detected anything yet. So, why exactly are people claiming that there is evidence, while scientists are still looking for it?
