Some of the other threads discussing infinite series has raised a question in my mind. Let's say that I have two infinite series that are the same: for example, 1+2+3+4+...
I then subtract one from the other. Common sense would dictate that this would result in an answer of zero. However, after reading some of the other threads, I'm wondering if this would actually be the case?
