I have noticed more tricky policies by the manufacturers of Ink Jet Cartridges but I don't buy them often enough to make a big deal about it. But today I was outraged to be told by a drugstore that Lexmark came and removed their refill equipment and their cartridge stock. So these devious folks set up your cartridge to stop whether its empty or not but it has reached some count say 150. Just to be stubborn I refilled the black cartridge and it worked perfectly well. Just try refilling the color Cartridge and you run afoul of the little chip that counts the copies you have made (at least that is how it seems). My printer refuses the refilled color one.
Am I making a big deal about some small thing? Perhaps but do the math.
