Bleeding Jesus Statue of Cochabamba

I watched a film about this. They took samples of the "blood" & "tears" coming from the plaster statue of Jesus. The camera was rolling as the blood & tears oozed out.

Blood samples were collected as they oozed out, and analyzed by several forensic pathologists & labs in several countries. They all found fresh human blood, some human skin cells, white blood cells, & scabs with fibrin, but no DNA. Also a thorn fragment was found in the sample from the forehead area. X ray & CAT scan of the statue showed that there were no cracks, openings or tubes inside the statue; it was hollow plaster. WTF?

Serratia marcescens is a ubiquitous bacterium that can produce a red pigment called prodigiosin and likes to hang out as a pink film in dirty, damp areas, but it was not found in the samples.

I am a skeptic, but unable to figure out how this happened. Any ideas?
