cruciate ligament surgery in dogs followup.

Super Sam is now ten weeks into his recovery period and I think is probably on track.

three weeks ago he got a good thumbs up from his favourite vet...

hE is still grounded totally and we are attempting to very gradually increase his activity. he still chooses not to use his leg quite regularly, but i suspect from habit, I don't think it hurts him unless we do too much(which is actually not very much at all still)

he is still unsteady at times on it, so it really must be difficult surgery to recover from if its that hard for a dog, must be awful for people....

In retrospect, i can't help feeling that the info the vets give you is a little misleading, maybe they should say three to four months restriction...

BUT, and this is a big one, he is still alive, and not in pain... so it's a success,

however, we are having trouble getting him to commit to a payment plan to repay his debt....:):):)
