My answers

I think the first thing that will need to be done once the first one is built is build another one, just in case the first one fails. They may have to remove everything from low orbit. I wonder what would happen if a small piece in low orbit hit the elevator? That may mean the end of the elevator. They might have to allow for



Once built people could start building satellites that generate electricity using solar power and then beam it down to earth.
