A fascinating diversion from another thread. Not only does it need a thread of its own, but it is my solemn duty to start it so that fossilise is spelt correctly. (Oh, and spelt is correct too, before you start to get picky..... :) )
How would you arrange for your bones to become fossilised? Being as there are laws about not leaving bodies around, what would you do to ensure that your corpse fulfilled both the law and your wishes? I got as far as buying a limestone cave, and getting a licence to have your coffin buried in it. You then organise for your relatives to leave it underneath a dripping stalagtite, with maybe a few holes drilled in the lid for good luck.
