I'm pretty sure, but I'm gonna ask anyway.

The package says "For best results do not life the lid (on the slow cooker) while it is cooking."



I did a little time with heat when I was in the Navy.* I do believe that it won't do all that much damage to the heat level in the pot. Or am I wrong?







*I qualified as a Journeyman Stationary Steam Plant Engineer.
