In response to the "Sodomite Suppression Act" ballot initiative by Californian lawyer Matt McLaughlin (which advocates the murder of homosexuals) one Charlotte Laws is preparing a similar measure, the the "Intolerant Jackass Act".
This proposes that anyone introducing a ballot measure involving killing gay people to be punished with "a year of sensitivity training and a hefty donation to a gay rights group".
McLaughlin's deranged initiative appears to be bound for the signature gathering phase but is held to be unlikely to achieve the necessary 365,000 signatures, and even less likely to survive intervention by the California Supreme Court if it did.
