The mid-mornings and afternoons here in the southern US are filled with conservative/right-wing AM radio talk. Rush, Beck et al.
I remember the Air America attempt. I've heard some conservatives from my circles in the past make comments about how "left-wing" radio didn't succeed was because the message was flawed, it's target audience was at home getting stoned and eating steaks (paid for by food stamps of course) and not working, etc.
I'd love a couple hours a day of Jon Stewart, John Oliver and a few others.
So what say you? Why didn't/doesn't progressive/" left wing" talk radio catch on?
