Call of Duty®: Black Ops III "Ember" Tease

Besides being an impressive video game trailer, the concept it is exploring is quite interesting, obviously, seeing as we are currently living through this installment of scientific discoveries and advancements. There is much to be excited about, like improvements in medicine, gaining more ground against debilitating and deadly illnesses and diseases. The technological advancements are straight out of yesterday's Science Fiction and leave me in awe, geeked out like I just met Boba Fett. But, as the trailer highlights, the wave of excitement peaks because these advancements are also being enjoyed by states and men who work with guns for a living, and they're not always very nice about it. And that's because, as the trailer points out:
Quote:

Mankind's greatest mistake will be its inability to control the technology it has created.
New technology = new arms race.

We've survived so far having nukes and hydrogen bombs, and all of the other bombs, guns and toys used in warfare, but what does the future hold, in your opinion, for the revolution in military affairs? Do you think what the video game trailer shows is a reasonable hypothesis for the future?
