He says it better than I could but IMO doesn't go nearly far enough, even stepping on eggshells about it. It's going (gone?) from incredibly bad manners and excessive use to full-blown mass obsession, and it's long-range effects are IMO morbidly profound and not only grossly underrated but essentially ignored.
