Help / UFO Aircraft Video display / Camera angle

I am a member of the Skeptic Society forum. I have a UFO "woo" enthusiast posting a video, that claims to be a Mexican military aircraft surveillance video of UFOs. The video is infra red. I have found two skeptic debunking articles that indicate the UFOs are most probably off shore oil platforms, burning off gases, on the horizon, that have been picked up on infra red. I think these articles are correct.

I ask for help from ISF "aircraft boffin" members concerning two simple questions.

1) The infra red video has audio of hysterical aircraft crew. Would I be correct in assuming military aircraft videos don't have audio tracks and this is therefore probably a post production fabrication.

2) Below is a still from the video. On the left hand side is a display. Does this display indicate the camera is facing down or does it mean something else? How can I determine if the camera is facing down or not?

Here is the video footage on You Tube.

( I'm aware that we have many experienced pilots and aircrew here on the ISF and any help would be most welcome, as I am getting out of my depth)
