Wal-Mart shooting by Active Air Force Soldier

2 dead, one being the suspect in this Wal-Mart shooting:

The suspect of the shooting incident at Wal-Mart Tuesday morning has been identified as Marcell Willis, a 21-year-old active duty Air Force, assigned to the Grand Forks Air Force Base. Preliminary investigation indicates that Marcell Willis entered the Wal-Mart store just after 1 a.m. He apparently encountered two Wal-Mart employees shortly after entering the store. Police say it appears he shot both employees; injuring one and killing the other.

Unfortunately we didn't have any good guys with guns to combat the bad guy with the gun. I'm rather interested to learn what caused him to snap. Going into a Wal-Mart at 1 a.m. on an early Tuesday morning probably isn't the best time if you want to do max damage. So far they haven't found any connection to the employees. Make no mistake, I'm glad the damage was minimal, but it's tough to grasp when it happens this close to home. Extremely close to home.
