As social media this month got wind of this story, of the alien megastructures I first thought it was nothing but one of those IFLS clickbait crap that goes around. However, upon closer examination, it can be reasonable determined that this is the closest thing to alien life we have discovered thus far. That or to me it could also be a marble game of planetary proportions.
Unless I am mistaken, scientists are not too thrilled with the comet explanation and even less thrilled about the planetary explosion scenario. Citing the fact that these events would take too quick for us to notice them. Some scientists especially those working at SETI are very curious to measure the lights coming from the star because they think it's more of an on-going development.
What do you guys think? Is it possible? BTW, I cannot post urls.
