- You wake up to find yourself effortlessly inserted into history as a healthy, fit American man in the US, aged 20, in 1943. You cannot change history. Nothing you do will change even the slightest detail of anything. There is no butterfly effect. What happened, happened.
The US is currently at war with the Axis, an objectively evil group of governments attempting to take over the world in the most objectively evil way possible.
Question: Do you join the military and fight?
You know we'll win without your help in exactly the same way. Do you fight evil because evil must be fought? Do you sit out because you know the cause will be won? Do you do something different?
Please don't try to fight the hypo. You cannot use your knowledge of the future to game the system in any way.
