Ohio Murders - Anyone care to Speculate a Motive?

About a week ago, 8 members of the Rhoden Family were killed in rural Ohio. Police say they were executed. The killings were near-simultaneous and took place in 4 different locations during the night. Three of the locations had what police call "Marijuana Grow Operations" at them - although Robbery of Cash or Drugs doesn't seem to be the motive of the killing (for plenty of cash and Drugs were left behind at the scenes(s)).

Other motives have been speculated - even the involvement of Mexican gangs, but nothing has been proven.

Me...I think it was an effort to get rid of potential "Informants". I think law-enforcement was well aware that the Rhodens were weed growers and I think the Rhodens were also ratting-out other people - or contemplating such action. As a result, someone (who was afraid of being ratted out) went through a lot of trouble to whack so many people - and it was a masterful hit job - very comprehensive. Also, the job was so quick and clean it makes me think that whoever whacked the Rhodens was very close to them - someone they knew and trusted (they could easily get close before killing them), and who knew them and their lifestyle very well. Hell...maybe it was another bunch of Rhodens what did it!

What do you say?
