When Tarot is useful

There are various ways to use Tarot.

First it must be said that Tarot is not a magic formula that must be followed to the letter. It is a means of getting information in a subtle way from the supernatural - an intelligence is guiding the layout of the cards, and influencing how the reader interprets the cards.

It is however best to use traditional cards and usage instructions, and to follow a reasonably repeatable methodology. Different types of questions do need different layouts.

The easiest and quickest and least vague layout is a 3 Aces spread. It gives a yes or no answer, plus some information.

Example - I wanted to know if the Deputy Judge President, who this week met with me and the opposing party to give directions and orders, is as straight as he appears to be. It will affect how I phrase my letter to him in follow-up. And some strategy.

The cards were (from the right):

The 3 of Pentacles reversed,
The Heirophant,
The Ace of Wands.

Answer. He is mediocre and sticks to the conventional, but he will progress the matter in a straight-forward businesslike way.

A few weeks ago I asked if I should do a final enrollment of the default application in a motion. The answer I got was no, it would be problematic. It would have been. There was a factor I had not thought was a problem that was an issue that the Deputy Judge President raised at the meeting.

A number of years ago I had a gut feeling that something was not right in a complex lawsuit in NZ. I then used a general spread (the Keltic Method) and that indicated that there was a man involved in treacherous dealings. It seemed that the brother of the woman involved was not on her side as he indicated but was plotting against her. It meant that he was not always informed as to strategy and sometimes given misleading information. Turned out he was a total rat-bag who hated his sister.

These little bits of "information" that one would not otherwise have are useful and can make a big difference.

I will give one other example of a question. Last week I learned that Amphotericin B is not just an antifungal but it can kill off systemic infections rather than limiting them as the azoles do. That has meant that I am considering it because I have been on sporazole for about 5 years.

Here is why I have not considered Amphotericin B (also know as "Ampho-terrible").

Quote:

Wikipedia
...Amphotericin B is well known for its severe and potentially lethal side effects. Very often, it causes a serious reaction soon after infusion (within 1 to 3 hours), consisting of high fever, shaking chills, hypotension, anorexia, nausea, vomiting, headache, dyspnea and tachypnea, drowsiness, and generalized weakness. The violent chills and fevers have been nicknamed "shake and bake".

...Intravenously administered amphotericin B in therapeutic doses has also been associated with multiple organ damage. Kidney damage is a frequently reported side effect, and can be severe and/or irreversible.

The doctors will give me multiple opinions, and varying degrees of reassurance. They simply do not know how an individual will react.

My problem is that my condition (healthy immune-competent person with disseminated systemic histoplasmosis) is so rare that I am battling to find a specialist in the field to advise me and do the treatment. I will persist.

But it is a perfect question for the Tarot cards. One that I will ask three times and not just once.
