Would this be feasible?

A question for our resident engineers. I am writing a story and in it I was thinking of having the beds literally be an air bed, one that uses thousands of small high pressure air jets to counter the force of gravity and keep the sleeper suspended quite literally on a cushion of warm air.

The question is, is this actually feasible, or would it just be a load of hot air?
