Looks like Scotland are going to introdice minimum pricing for alcohol by unit.
So the expensive stuff like Scotch, Brandy, Premium bottled beers and good wine will stay the same, Low end Cider, Lager and such will be hit.
2 litre bottles of strong cider like 'White Lightning' are under £4, under new plans they will be close to £12.
Who wants to bet that all the shops in Berwick and Carlisle are stocking up on cheap cider and lager?
