Do predators enjoy killing?

I was searching for articles on this, and couldn't find anything. I'm interested in the neurology or biochemistry that might indicate a pleasure is being experienced by animals, an endorphin rush or whatever, specifically when they engage in hunting behaviours independent of any response from eating, satiating hunger, etc.. The reason is to get a bit clearer about the phenomenon of 'surplus killing', where predators kill excessive numbers of prey, neither eating much nor caching victims for later. My search skills could probably do with improving, or maybe there's just not much been done on it.
