Some years ago I had a friend who suffered from schizophrenia. He was diagnosed and receiving treatment so he knew he was afflicted. None the less even with this knowledge he was convinced he had some special mind powers.
On another thread we have a poster who admits to a history of schizophrenia, but that doesn't stop him from telling us about his unusual ability to sense or feel, that which is hidden from, it would seem, most of us. He tells us this with an air of authority.
Anyone else here have experience with sufferers of this disorder, and do the sufferers you know, think they have these extraordinary mind abilities?
