Not science. Not magic. It's just computer trickery.

And not even the hard way either.

You run the simulation with all white balls that your program keeps track of individually.

Then you color all the balls in each column using a different color per column.

Then simply run the program again with the computer retaining the color information the entire time.

As far as I have been told when it was initially posted the first few seconds of the video were not included (a careful viewer can probably guess why).

I'm going to assume it uses the same method, but with more work involved.
